Sadly it is still sitting in the drafts folder, mocking me with its unfinishedness. Mail me about any particular subjects and I'll mail you over some recommendations.

Did part 2 ever get finished of this? I can't seem to find it. I'd love to know some reading recommendations in those other categories you listed. (Trying to build the Octane library a bit...)

Coffee Production - Bernhard Rothfos
Some translation errors but i found it quite detailed and easy to take in information regarding farming and processing techniques. Made me realise why so many coffees are sub par by how much work goes into crop production and about maintenance of quality post harvest.

Hey,
what about the Philippe Jobin book of Coffees Throughout the World?! ...A bit old but quite cute with maps and stuff....
:)
I'm very away from all the buzz that goes on in the net (unfortunately my own fault), but whenever I need a piece of information to give some flavour to something else, you always have some insight :), that's cool!
Take care!
and Hi to Anette!

Hey James

Awesome list. Just a quick reminder about part II of the list - i'm really keen to get more info on the topics to be covered under that part.

Great list James, looking forward to part 2. Are there any magazines or periodicals that are also worth considering?

I suspect that it would cause more trouble than it would be worth. I wrote one slightly negative review of a book on here once and that wasn't really worth it after all the angry emails.

Perhaps I should just say that any book that rates a country's coffee production from 1 to 5 beans probably doesn't deliver the insight that readers of this blog might hope for.
