Well I am going….

My interest in London’s coffee house history, combined with my inner geek means I am definitely going to this.

I’m very jealous. I’ve just been reading (and writing about) coffee in that era from the perspective of its preparation and use at sea, particularly as described by Patrick O’Brian in the Aubrey/Maturin novels. Much of his material was drawn from contemporary sources and are quite revealing in demonstrating the attitude towards coffee.
