Just days before you mentioned and started posting about Vancouver, Seattle, and Portland, I purchased my airplane ticket to Seattle so that I could take a train down to Portland and up to Vancouver to visit friends and the coffeeshops you have mentioned. Its my birthday present to myself and by the sounds of your experience, it will be an awesome trip. Thanks for the posts! These posts are in perfect timing for my upcoming travels to the West Coast. It's nice to read some reviews of all of the main places in Vancouver from an outsider's perspective, and you're lucky to have got Thena on the bar at Commercial; she pulls some amazing shots. Enjoy the rest of your trip, and thanks again for the excellent list of places I need to go while here in London.
