I leave home tomorrow heading out, ultimately, to the first round of the UK Barista Championship which is in Lisburn, Northern Ireland.  Its a two day heat (Wednesday and Thursday), and is going to be one of the most strongly contested.  As I did last year I will be writing up every round and hopefully my new camera will help me catch a few decent pictures of competitors as well.  Don’t much look forward to all the miles I’ll be doing, but last year I really enjoyed meeting lots of passionate baristas from all over the UK.
