I’m quite excited about new crops coming in. I can finally begin working on my new blend. So much to try, to explore. I’m hoping I can learn a lot more about roasting this time around so I can roast it for shows and competitions myself.
I also hope it will be an opportunity to do some more cupping, and to develop those skills as well – both bowl and espresso.
Also quite pleased to be taking on the training for a group in London that include places like Soho House and Electric House amongst others. Going to do some audits later this week. Was quite amused to sit and have coffee next to David Schwimmer – though the whole celebrity thing is no longer as amusing as it once was.
Hoping my new tamper has arrived at head office tomorrow. I love new toys!
